10-15-17: In this three-part series, we look at the Work of God in the past, present, and future of our congregation. Today, we delve into the past and look at the Ebenezer that has been put up to see the work God has done in the life of our congregation.
10-01-17: In this final part of this series we look at what it takes to keep up a relationship with God. How do we continue, throughout the ups and downs of life, feel the presence of God?
09-24-17: This week we are back with part 3 of the series, Restore: Finding Redemption in our Mess. Today we talk about the process of sanctification and being made into the likeness of Christ. It is a lifelong process that starts with humility.
09-17-17: Today we celebrated 115 years of ministry at Indian Trail United Methodist Church. To celebrate we welcomed Keith Adams, the Executive Director of Common Heart, a local ministry that helps thousands in Union County and beyond.
09-10-17: In this second part of our Restored series we will look at the work of Grace that God does in us, also known as justifying grace. We do not have to live in our mess. There is someone who can make a change in our lives if we are willing to let it happen.
09-03-17: This is our first sermon in our new series, Restored: Finding Redemption in our Mess. Today we look at how we are soaked in sin. Yet, we worship a God who still seeks us out and strives to be in a with us. The United Methodist call this Prevenient Grace. God is seeking us long before we seek God.
08-27-17: As we wrap up this series, we look at a wonderful book, Old Turtle. It provides some answers to some age old questions. Who is God and who are we? We dive into these questions as we look at the wisdom of "Old Turtle."
08-20-17: This week's book is another classic, Runaway Bunny. We hear a theme of running away from that is found in many of the stories in our Bible. We also hear the promise found in Luke 15:1-10 that says that God will go out and seek the lost. If you are running from God...know that God is around you and wants you to be found.
08-13-17: The Giving Tree is a cherished book about a Tree who gives everything to a boy. God has given us everything but are we willing to give all of our talents to God? What is holding us back? Through the parable of the Talents in Matthew 25, we explore these ideas.
08-06-17: Thank you for listening to this new series for the month of August. Each week we will read a Children's Book during the Children's Moment and then that will be the focus of the sermon and what we learn about ourselves and God in the lessons of that book. This week we look at "Designed By God so I Must be Special." We learn to experience this thing called life as a gift from God.
